The largest city in the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, as well as its commercial capital, Indore has been referred to for years as the 'Detroit of India'. In addition to the automotive components business, Indore is home to the steel, garment and IT industries. Attractions abound in this Central India city and include temples, forts and palaces.
