New Delhi, April 15, 2008: Lemon Tree Hotels, India’s fastest growing hotel company has launched a new hotel and convention center on top of the East Delhi Mall in Kaushambi, making this their third hotel in the NCR region. The company now has five operating hotels; two in Gurgaon, a beach resort in Goa, one hotel in Pune and the latest addition in Kaushambi, East Delhi. This is the first of the Lemon Tree Hotels to be built on top of a mall.

New Delhi, April 07 2008: MID-LEVEL full-serviced hotel chain Lemon Tree Hotels is looking at hiving off its assets into a separate company. The chain has identified five hotels that will form part of the hived-off entity.

New Delhi, 2nd April 2008: Lemon Tree Hotels, India’s fastest growing hotel company, today announced that Shinsei Bank Limited and Kotak Realty Funds have jointly invested USD 30 million in the company for an equity stake of 5.9%, thereby valuing Lemon Tree Hotels at over USD 500 million. The transaction is via a secondary sale by existing shareholders.
